Annoushka Hempel

B.A. SOAS, London; Founder & Director of Colombo Art Biennale & Curator.
Annoushka was born in London where she attended SOAS and achieved her BA honours in Art & Archeology. She continued her love of the arts through working with contemporary artists in London as well as working on a book on African Art. Her work experience then led her to PR and event management. She came to live in Sri Lanka almost seven years ago with her family where she set up and managed the first Art gallery in Galle showcasing Sri Lankan artists. Annoushka is now based in Colombo and is founder and director of Colombo Art Biennale.
